Office Manager/Dental Assistant Level 2

Throughout her time at our practice, Karen’s dedication to patient care and expertise in practice management was always visible. So it was a natural progression for her to take on the role of Office Manager in 2023. Taking over this position, she not only brings her vast wealth of knowledge about dental practices but also her love for dentistry and patient care.

Karen is also a highly skilled and qualified assistant who has worked with Dr. Borland for over 30 years. She is always there to ensure the appointment goes smoothly making patients feel comfortable, relaxed, and well taken care of. Her friendly and professional manner helps put patients at ease. She has formed long-term relationships with our patients and it brings her happiness to see our patients leave with a smile on their faces. Cosmetic and restorative dentistry is a passion of hers. This passion continues to drive her to further her education through courses and lectures, learning new treatment protocols and technology in dentistry.

Magda

Dental Assistant Level 2

Magda has been a valuable member of Dr. Borland’s team for over 20 years bringing with her a highly organized and compassionate work ethic to each appointment. She aims to make sure each patient is well cared for from the start of the appointment to the finish. Her dedication to optimal patient care and exceptional treatment results are seen daily by both staff and patients. With a passion for new technology and learning, Magda is always seeking continued growth and knowledge in her field through ongoing studies and courses.

Hygienist

Liz began her career as a dental assistant in Toronto. Thoroughly enjoying the profession and interaction with patients Liz returned to school to certify as a dental hygienist. She has been providing care and treatment at Dr. Borland’s practice for over 25 years and loves collaborating with patients to help them achieve a lifetime of excellent dental health. Liz brings a wealth of knowledge and an empathetic caring approach to each patient’s visit.

Camille

Hygienist

With 5 years of dental assisting experience, Camille returned to school to further her dental training as a dental hygienist. Graduating from George Brown College, Camille joined Dr. Borland’s office in 2002. Camille brings outstanding clinical skills and a passion for improving the dental health of every patient she treats. Whether you’re a new patient or one of her many long-standing clients you’ll enjoy Camille’s calm, caring, and detail-oriented personality.

Sharon

Hygienist

Sharon worked as a dental assistant for four years before returning to George Brown College to become a registered hygienist. She has been providing exceptional care and treatment as a hygienist for over 20 years. Loving what she does, Sharon brings enthusiasm and joy to each patient’s visit. She thoroughly enjoys the interaction with patients and the satisfaction of knowing that she leaves each patient with a healthier mouth and smile.

Patient/Treatment Coordinator

Sandra is the newest addition to our team! Joining our practice in 2023, Sandra provides exceptional service as the office administrator. She brings a welcoming and friendly personality the connects with both patients and staff. Her background and skills used in corporate and dental administration allows her to provide outstanding results and service. Sandra looks forward to meeting all our patients and welcoming our new patients, striving to provide outstanding personalized attention to each patient.
